ABOUT US

Once upon a time in the magical world of radio, two guys who thought they knew how to use microphones got the bright idea to start a podcast. This was no ordinary podcast; it was a spectacular display of unscripted, outrageous banter between two pals who bravely chose to air their most embarrassing blunders for the entertainment of, well, anyone who’d listen.

The journey begins with "The Non-Experts Podcast," a name as modest as their technical skills, which hit the internet in 2018. It was like a snowball rolling downhill, picking up followers and probably a few confused stragglers along the way. As the show morphed into something slightly less amateur, they made it look like they knew what they were doing.

Then, with a dash of delusional confidence and a pinch of what-the-heck, they launched "Botch Job Society." The goal? To amp up their shenanigans to a whole new level of "we can't believe we're actually doing this." It's like watching a trainwreck in slow motion, but in the most endearing way possible.

RAMERO

I'm Ramero Starks, your go-to guy for all things podcasting, basketball guru, and

a part-time clown. In 2018, I bid farewell to my college days at Lindenwood, proudly clutching a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a special love for broadcasting.

My college life was anything but dull. You needed someone to host an event? I was your man. From deep, insightful chats with indie music maestro Matt Maeson to anchoring a variety of shows (including a memorable stint with my pal Chris), I did it all. And let's not forget those golden hours at the radio station, where I was the voice behind the thrilling sports broadcasts.

Fast forward to today, and here I am, balancing the serious world of adulting with the zany universe of my podcasts. These shows are my playground, a place where I unleash the full spectrum of my personality – part basketball analyst, part jovial jester. So, if you're in for a mix of sports savvy and a hearty laugh, you know where to find me. Let's make life a little more entertaining, shall we?

I'm Chris Brueggeman, your resident podcast fanatic, film addict, and self-proclaimed media maestro. You know, just your average Joe... if Joe could splice film and tweak audio like a wizard. I'm the proud owner of a Mass Communications and Media Studies degree from Lindenwood University (class of 2018, baby!) and Master's in Cinema Arts.

My claim to fame? Snagging the 2019 Best Fiction Short Lindy for my cinematic masterpiece "Terms & Conditions." Oh, and I also bagged Best Directing and Best Editing for a pharmaceutical ad so convincing, you'd almost believe "Endeenidal" was real.

When I'm not glued to my editing suite, I'm a tech junkie, always lurking around the latest gadget news. My hobbies include movie marathons, devouring books (yep, those ancient things with pages), hanging with my cat Louie (who's probably the real brains of the operation), and crafting this mind-blowing podcast that you're definitely missing out on.

The Groundbreaking (or Ground-Breakingly Average) Non-Experts Podcast!

This was where it all began - our brainchild that probably should've stayed a thought. It was a radio idea so 'meh' that it morphed into a podcast.

And guess what? It's still around!

Perfect for those times when you're desperately waiting for next week's episode and need something to fill the void. Tune in, or don't – we're not experts, after all!
